This heirloom jam recipe is what caught our palate by surprise when we were on this pomegranate and fig farm in Greece. To say this is the most divine fig jam is not doing enough justice. With no preservatives, no dyes, or fragrances you get pure figs and infused pomegranate, with one of the oldest traditional recipe methods that have been used for over a century, called "Retseli". It was made by grandmothers in Asia Minor to use the ripe figs after the 15th of August. This jam can be added to cheese boards, yogurt, breakfast recipes, such as batter for French toast, pancakes, cupcakes, or ultimate classics topping for bread with butter or brie cheese!
